4PB Members in Court of Appeal case, developing forced marriage jurisprudence

Henry Setright QC, Jacqueline Renton and Jonathan Evans recently represented Southall Black Sisters on a pro bono basis, instructed by Dawson Cornwell, in the Court of Appeal case of Re K (Forced Marriage: Passport Order) [2019]. The case is of seminal importance to the development of the forced marriage jurisprudence and sets out a ‘route map’ for courts to follow when considering making Forced Marriage Protection Orders.
