Profile

Alex accepts instructions in all areas of family law, having joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2023 following the successful completion of pupillage at 4PB. During the course of pupillage, Alex was supervised by Greg Davies, Nicholas Fairbank and Mani Basi.

Alex regularly appears on behalf of parents, Local Authorities and separated spouses within care, private law children, international children and financial remedies cases. She has been instructed as junior counsel for both children and financial remedies cases.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Alex worked as a midwife in London. She specialised in working with socially vulnerable women, particularly women who had experienced domestic abuse. Alongside her clinical practice, Alex worked as a healthcare researcher, with an emphasis on breech births. She co-authored several research articles on the topic, and continues to work as a peer-reviewer for BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth Journal.

In her free time, Alex enjoys running, going to the theatre and travelling.
