During a fact-finding hearing in proceedings in relation to a child, the mother, who had made allegations of domestic abuse, had been cross-examined by video link by the father who was representing himself. The court called for urgent attention to be given to the issue of the cross-examination of victims of abuse by their abusers in family courts when it was not permitted in the Crown Court.
