MC v AC

2nd May 2018

Practice Areas

Private Children Law

This is an appeal from Tolson HHJ QC from a decision of 28 November and subsequent judgment of 5 December 2017.  The issue before him was whether A, an 8, now 9-year-old girl, should be permitted to relocate with her mother to her mother’s native Iran, or whether she should remain England, essentially living with the mother and spending time with her father at weekends and during the week.  The judge refused the mother’s application and the mother appealed.  Permission was sought and granted by Baker J.
