Trust in Me, Just in Me: Negotiating the International instrument Jungle

The annual 4PB International Seminar will take place on Thursday 11th June at the Crowne Plaza London – The City (near Blackfriars Station).

The 4PB International Family Law group are presenting a 1/2 day seminar to examine the emerging issues in enforcement of international orders.  Through the use of role-plays, presentations and Q&A’s we will examine:

  • Alpha Male? Priority between the 1980 Abduction Convention, Brussels IIA and the 1996 Child Protection Convention
  • Enforcement of foreign orders and grounds for non-recognition
  • Committal and impossibility of performance
  • Third party orders: coercion or encouragement

Registration is at 1.30pm
Seminar 2.00pm – 5.30pm
