In a 5 day conference organised and funded by Cape Town University for the Judicial Institute for Africa, Alistair G Perkins will be addressing 28 High Court and Court of Appeal judges from; Botswana, South Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, the Seychelles, Uganda, Zambia, Zanzibar and Zimbabwe, on the 1980 Hague Convention and child abduction generally.
The conference titled, ‘The Protection of Children: The Hague Convention, other Human Rights and Related International Instruments and their Application’, took place between 11th – 15th September 2023.
This is the first conference that Cape Town University have organised for JIFA.
