In a finely balanced case, the mother, the father, (by law, not biological), PQ, the paternal aunt and uncle and Z (the child, subject of the interim care order) were all represented at the hearing where both PQ and the paternal aunt and uncle each seek Z’s placement with them pursuant to a special guardianship order.
