Sally Bradley and Ms Deirdre Fottrell QC instructed by Powell Spencer & Partners, represented the applicants requesting the revocation of an adoption order.
Whilst the revocation had the support of all parties, though an important factor, it was considered alongside the issues between the parties raised by the legal framework within which the court would need to consider the application. On this basis, the court was able to consider the relevant factors in the case and determine whether the court should exercise its’ discretion under the inherent jurisdiction to revoke the adoption orders.
