Emily Otvos

Overview

Emily joined 4PB as a tenant in October 2026, having successfully completed pupillage under the supervision of Mani Singh Basi, Katharine Bundell, Charlotte Baker and Chris Barnes KC. She accepts instructions across all of Chambers’ practice areas.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Emily qualified as a social worker through the graduate programme Frontline. She spent three years in a Local Authority Child Protection Team, co-ordinating multi-agency professionals and working with families to make positive changes. She then spent two years as an Independent Social Worker, completing care assessments and giving evidence as an expert witness on behalf of parents in their EHC Plan appeals in the Special Educational Needs First Tier Tribunal.
