Our members commitment to modern and novel ways of resolving disputes is evident in their commitment to innovation: 4PB is the birthplace of the award-winning The Divorce Surgery, set up by Samantha Woodham and Harry Gates and the first organisation to enable separating couples to receive advice from one lawyer (now known as the “One Couple One Lawyer” approach). In addition, Rachel Chisholm is one of the founding members of The Mediation Space, a psychotherapeutically informed mediation service based in London. It was created to offer a novel and less attritional approach to resolving family problems.
