Anna Comboni

Overview

Anna practises across the full range of family law. 

Anna completed pupillage in December 2020 under the supervision of Michael Edwards, Harry Gates and Chris Barnes. 

Anna was previously a social worker. She worked for a London local authority for 2 years, specialising in child protection and care proceedings.  She was also a Visiting Lecturer at City University, teaching undergraduate Family Law tutorials.

Anna acts for all parties in cases involving serious allegations of abuse and neglect. She has acted as junior counsel in complex NAI cases. 

Private children law > >

Anna is regularly instructed in cases involving allegations of serious domestic abuse and alienating behaviours. Anna has represented extended family members seeking orders in relation to children, and has experience of cases with an international element. 

International children law > >

Anna appears in the High Court in cases brought under the Hague Convention and also has experience of cases involving alleged abduction from non-Hague countries.

Anna represents both applicants and respondents in all stages of financial remedy proceedings up to Final Hearing.
