Allana accepts instructions in all areas of family law. Allana joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2026 following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Amean Elgadhy, Pippa Sanger, Michael Edwards, and Mai-Ling Savage.
Prior to undertaking pupillage, Allana worked within Children’s Services at a Local Authority, supervising contact between looked-after children and their families. Allana facilitated contact in line with the child’s care plan, prepared detailed contact records for use in care proceedings, and offered support and advice on safe parenting.
Allana also worked as a Legal Secretary at a solicitors’ firm. She worked across six offices supporting fee-earners in family, civil litigation, private client, and conveyancing matters. Allana liaised with clients, prepared applications to Court, and handled high-value property transactions.
In her free time, Allana enjoys baking and travelling. Before starting pupillage, Allana took an interrailing trip across Europe.

Private Children Law > >
Allana is regularly instructed at all stages of private children proceedings from urgent applications to final hearings. Her experience includes cases involving allegations of domestic abuse, coercive and controlling behaviour, and fabricated or induced illness. Allana represents parents and, in more complex cases, children (through their Guardian) and Local Authorities.
Allana’s practice also encompasses proceedings under the Family Law Act 1996. She has represented both applicants and respondents to Non-Molestation Order and Occupation Order applications at ex parte and on-notice hearings, return dates, and contested final hearings.
Public Children Law > >
Allana accepts instructions to appear on behalf of Local Authorities, parents, and Guardians at all stages of public law proceedings. She has experience of cases involving complex issues of substance misuse, mental health, and domestic abuse. Allana also successfully obtained a Recovery Order in a case concerning a child’s deprivation of liberty.
International Children Law > >
Allana is developing her practice across the spectrum of international children law. She has appeared in the High Court dealing with urgent applications and represented parents in proceedings concerning summary return and international rights of access under Article 21 of the Hague Convention 1980.
Finance > >
Allana accepts instructions in financial remedy proceedings. In addition to representing clients at court, Allana has been instructed to provide a written advice in relation to conduct under Section 25(g) Matrimonial Causes Act 1973.
