Allana Bennison

Year of Call: 2024
Overview

Allana started pupillage in October 2025 and will be supervised by Amean Elgadhy, Pippa Sanger, Michael Edwards, and Mai Ling Savage.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Allana worked as a Legal Secretary at a solicitors’ firm in North Wales. She worked across six offices supporting fee-earners in family, civil litigation, private client, and residential and commercial conveyancing matters. Prior to this role, Allana worked for a Local Authority in North Wales, supervising contact between looked-after children and their families. Allana undertook assessments of parents to ensure contact was safe to proceed, liaised with foster carers and social workers, and wrote detailed contact records to be used in ongoing care proceedings.

At university, Allana engaged in advocacy competitions and moots and was a member of the Academic Subcommittee of her university’s Bar Society. After obtaining pupillage, Allana became a mentor for Young Bar Mentoring and supported prospective pupil barristers by giving feedback on their applications and interview method.

In her free time, Allana enjoys baking and travelling. Prior to starting pupillage, Allana did a two-week interrailing trip across Europe.
