Allana Bennison
Allana started pupillage in October 2025 and will be supervised by Amean Elgadhy, Pippa Sanger, Michael Edwards, and Mai Ling Savage.
Allana accepts instructions across all areas of Chambers’ practice.
Prior to undertaking pupillage, Allana worked within Children’s Services at a Local Authority, supervising contact between looked-after children and their families. Allana reviewed extensive social work records and ensured contact was facilitated in line with the child’s care plan and directions of the court. Allana prepared detailed contact records for use in care proceedings, supported families and advised on safe parenting, and worked closely with the social work and legal teams.
Allana also worked as a Legal Secretary at a solicitors’ firm. She worked across six offices supporting fee-earners in family, civil litigation, private client, and conveyancing matters. Allana handled high-value property transactions, prepared applications to court, and drafted legal documents.
During her studies, Allana was a Student Legal Adviser at her university pro bono clinic, advising on family and mental health law matters. Allana also volunteered regularly, she prepared witness statements for non-molestation and occupation order applications with the National Centre for Domestic Violence and taught conversational English with Student Action for Refugees.
In her free time, Allana enjoys baking and travelling. Before starting pupillage, Allana did a two-week interrailing trip across Europe.
