Abigail Clements - Bewley

Year of Call: 2025
Overview

Abigail joined 4PB in October 2025. Prior to commencing pupillage, Abigail gained over four years of experience as a family law paralegal.

She began her career at a Tier 1 family law firm in central Manchester, where she supported senior in-house counsel with drafting position statements, pre/post nuptial agreements, attending court hearings, and preparing court orders.

Abigail later joined a specialist international family law firm in London, where she assisted solicitors in managing a wide range of complex international family law matters. She has extensive experience in high net worth and ultra-high net worth financial remedy proceedings, as well as private children cases, many of which involved cross-border issues.

Alongside her professional and academic commitments, Abigail undertook a range of pro bono work, volunteering with Devon and Cornwall Police, Citizens Advice, and her university’s law clinic.

She is a regular contributor to the Financial Remedies Journal and has also written for Family Law Week.

During her first six months of pupillage, Abigail will be supervised by Lucy Cheetham and Henry Clayton.
