Abigail Clements - Bewley

Year of Call: 2025
Overview

Abigail joined 4PB in October 2025 as a pupil and is now available for instructions across all of chambers’ practice areas.

Prior to starting pupillage, Abigail worked as a paralegal at a leading national full-service law firm where she assisted senior in-house counsel on a broad spectrum of family law matters, including financial remedies and private children cases.

She subsequently joined a specialist boutique family law firm in London, where she worked exclusively on family law matters with an international dimension. She is well accustomed to supporting cases involving complex factual and legal issues.

During her pupillage with 4PB, Abigail has built on her prior experiences and gained further exposure to public law, private children, financial remedies and international child abduction matters.

In addition to her professional work, Abigail has undertaken a range of pro bono work, including volunteering with Devon and Cornwall Police, Citizens Advice, and her university law clinic. She is also registered with the pro-bono charity, Advocate, and is a regular contributor to the Financial Remedies Journal and Family Law Week.

During her second six, Abigail is supervised by Lucy Cheetham, Henry Clayton, Jonathan Evans and Greg Davies
