Jacqueline Renton appeared in the case of BR v SN [2024], where she successfully argued that Hadkinson orders can apply in relation to Children Act proceedings. Mr Justice Moor gave important guidance on this issue, and developed the Hadkinson jurisdiction in relation to Children Act proceedings, in circumstances where this issue had not been considered since the case of Hadkinson v Hadkinson [1952] itself.
