4PB Welcomes Pupil Cohort 2026/27

1st October 2026
We are delighted to welcome our 2026/27 Pupil Cohort: Isabella Hibbert-Robinson, Dan Shiers and Beth Hermaszewska.
Isabella worked as a Legal Assistant at 4PB, supporting barristers of varying levels of seniority. In this role, she regularly drafted position statements, undertook novel legal research, and attended court hearings, gaining insight into the broad range of issues arising within family law. Prior to this, Isabella volunteered for a charity supporting parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. As part of this role, she provided advocacy through a helpline, assisting callers with a range of legal issues and supporting them in relation to tribunal proceedings. Isabella will be supervised by Amean Elgadhy, Jonathan Evans, Mani Singh Basi and Pippa Sanger.
Before commencing pupillage, Dan undertook paralegal roles at Burgess Mee Family Law and HCR Law in London, assisting with a range of private family matters, including financial remedy and private children proceedings. His work included preparing chronologies and bundles, assisting with case preparation, and liaising with solicitors and counsel. He previously worked as a paralegal at DWF, supporting complex litigation matters. He will be under the supervision of Sally Bradley, Paul Hepher, Henry Clayton and Frankie Shama.
Beth worked as a caseworker at Advocate, the Bar’s pro bono charity. She processed individuals’ applications for pro bono assistance in family, housing, and employment law before becoming Head of Casework, where she trained and managed the casework team. . Beth has also undertaken various volunteering roles, including as a general advisor at Citizens Advice Bureau and London law centres. Beth will be supervised by Katharine Bundell, Bibi Badejo, Chris Stevenson and Michael Edwards.
We look forward to watching Isabella, Dan and Beth flourish as they embark on this exciting journey with us.
