4PB Celebrate the London Launch of “Domestic Abuse in the Family Justice System” with No5 Barristers’ Chambers.

17th April 2026

We were delighted to celebrate yesterday’s London launch of “Domestic Abuse in the Family Justice System” with No5 Barristers’ Chambers.

Authored by Professor Jo Delahunty KC alongside Ian McArdle of Hundred Court Chambers, Michelle Heeley KC and Chloë Ashley of No5 Barristers’ Chambers, with a guest chapter by Anita Mehta, the book provides a clear and practical guide to the legal framework governing allegations of domestic abuse.

Drawing on expertise from both the family and criminal law arenas, it incorporates best practice from the criminal courts to support family law practitioners in identifying common mistakes across the family justice system, offering solutions and promoting best practice, including in relation to the interaction between domestic abuse and financial remedies.

Congratulations to all!
