International Issues in Family Law

30th September 2015

4 Paper Buildings are delighted to announce the publication of ‘International Issues in Family Law: The 1996 Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Brussels IIa’.

The book, which has been written by Henry Setright QC, David Williams QC and Michael Gration together with Maria Wright of Freemans Solicitors and Dr. Ian Curry-Sumner of Voorts Legal Services, has just been published by Jordan Publishing Ltd. It aims to provide practitioners and judges of all levels with the information that they need to deal with international issues, in whatever context and whatever form they may arise, in all proceedings concerning children.

In the foreword prepared for the book, Lady Justice Black said “I expect it to prove indispensable both for the experienced lawyer who deals with international cases week in week out, and for the newcomer who needs to know what is what in order to spot, and deal with, an international issue”.
