Access to our Services
Clients are always welcome in Chambers but meetings and conferences are often arranged elsewhere to suit the needs of the case, particularly solicitors' offices. Arrangements are frequently made to meet clients at a venue convenient to them including their own home.

BARMARK
BARMARK was launched by the Bar Council in 1999.  The scheme is designed to recognise good practice management within chambers. The scheme is voluntary and is independently assessed by the British Standards Institution, with the final decision on awards taken by the Bar Council's BARMARK panel.  4 Paper Buildings first attained the BARMARK standard in 2000.

BARMARK indicates that chambers comply with the Bar Council's Practice Management Standards and Guidelines. This document, which is regularly reviewed, sets standards of best practice for administering chambers.

Complaints Policy
Barristers and staff at 4 Paper Buildings always strive to maintain the highest standards of service.  However, there may be occasions when a client is disappointed with our service.  We take any cause for dissatisfaction seriously and it is our policy to investigate fully any complaint.  We aim to learn from any mistakes so as to improve our service in the future.  To download our Complaints Policy, please click here.
